(D) Do you love cat or likes cat? Ask yourself, only you know…

A true cat lover (L) , will always:

  • pick the best food base on ingredients and nutrition. They stick with a high quality diet that is complete and formulated to meet their cats’ needs. They don’t look for what is the cheapest or what is on sale.
  • Knows that good nutrition and a balanced diet are essential elements for good health in a cat.
  • Knows that cats need plenty of fresh clean water.
  • will make sure their cats are fed a food appropriate for their life stage. Dietary requirements vary according to activity, stress levels and medical history. Outdoor and indoor/outdoor cats may experience increased levels of exercise and stress and thus require a higher percentage of protein and fat for energy production than a cat that is indoors only. Cats in various life stages (kitten “growth”, adult and senior “geriatric”) require different amounts of nutrients.  Active cats need more calories, while the “couch potato” cat needs less (just like us!).
  • Be very particular with litter type. As you know, there are a lot of different litter types, such as clay sand, pine wood, crystal, recycle litter, etc. Choosing the right one is the best, not because it is cheap or expensive. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Clay sand might stick on long fur cats. Kitten loves chewing clay sand.
  • make a comfortable bed for their fur kids.
  • particular on the location of food bowl(s), water bowl(s), and litter box.
  • get freak out and worry when something wrong happen to their cat, such as sickness. They will visit the vet soon after expecting something wrong to their cats. They also call veterinary to seek help and information.
  • visit the veterinary for medical check up, include vaccine and deworming.
  • provide supplement vitamin (if needed, as advice by the veterinary).
  • brush and groom their cats.
  • rescue kittens and cats that need help.
  • visit animal welfare society such as SPCA.
  • play and entertain their cats more.
  • love any cat(s), and will not make different between cats (in term of health and beauty).
  • buy cat’s book or manual.
  • know when their cat change behavior and mood.
  • will spay/neuter their cats when they do not have the intention to breed.
  • call their cat(s) by name. Not “here kitty kitty”

They only like cats (@) , when they:

  • buy any types of food as long as their cats eat it.
  • change the water when needed or empty.
  • do not care what is the ingredients and nutrition include in the food.
  • give adult food to kittens.
  • do not care where their cats poo and pee. When they don’t even continue buying litters.
  • do not take action when found their cat is sick.
  • do not care where their cat sleeps.
  • do not worried if their cat is not coming home (for both in and out door cat)
  • forgot or never vaccine and deworm their cats.
  • feed their cats anywhere in the house. By having bowls or on the floor.
  • never visit veterinary. (Don’t even have their cat medical history)
  • never spay/neuter their cat. (with the intention to breed or not)
  • never bother about supplement vitamin if needed.
  • not willing to rescue because of not having time and money.
  • never entertain and play with their cats. Having a cat just for the sake of accompany them at home or just because of the charm look.
  • will always compare between each cats. By having a concept of Ugly cat and beauty cat.
  • do not groom their cat (full with ear mites, fleas, and sharp nails).
  • do not worry if their cats have ear mites, fleas, ticks, worms, etc.
  • do not know much about their cat(s).
  • always mention $$ if anything related to their cats. Reminder, by having cats, you must know your responsibility. Keeping a cat need extra $$, even keeping fishes need $$.
